Thank you for your continued use of InfiniCLOUD.
As part of our investigation into the cause of the recent server failure and data corruption within InfiniCLOUD's cloud storage service that occurred on August 19 and October 1, 2026, we discovered that in environments using the same type of components that a failure of one hard drive can trigger the simultaneous failure of multiple hard drives, potentially resulting in data corruption.
Therefore, as a preventative measure to avoid similar issues in the future, we will performance the following maintenance on the affected servers.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the secure operation of our system.
Target Environments
Server environments using the same type of control card (HBA, a component that connects hard discs to the server).
Implementation Details
The firmware of the control card (HBA) will be updated to the latest version.
This update will address a bug in the error recovery process of the old firmware version by installing the latest firmware version released by the manufacturer.
Implementation Period (Estimated)
Updates will be implemented subsequentially, with the process expected to be completed by the end of November 2026.
The specific date and time of the maintenance will be notified to affected users individually by email in advance.
Impact of Maintenance
During the maintenance, communication to the affected environment will be unavailable, and the service will be unavailable.
After the maintenance is complete, the service will be available as usual.
