Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
InfiniCLOUD supports two methods of two-factor authentication (2FA):
- Email Verification
- Authenticator App
Email verification is enabled automatically when you register your account.
What Is Email Verification?
Email verification confirms your identity by sending a one-time verification code to your registered email address each time you sign in.
No additional software or setup is required. You can use email verification on any device that can receive email, including computers and smartphones.
What Is an Authenticator App?
An authenticator app generates a one-time verification code that is used to confirm your identity when signing in.
Using an authenticator app provides an additional layer of security and helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
Install an Authenticator App
To use app-based authentication, install one of the following authenticator apps on your smartphone:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- FreeOTP
Set Up an Authenticator App
Step 1 - Sign In
Sign in using your registered email address.
First-time users: You'll be prompted to reset your password before continuing.
Step 2 - Open My Page
Select Set Up 2FA to open the authentication portal.

Supported applications include:
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Google Authenticator
- Free OTP
Email Authentication remains available and is configured by default after signing in.
Step 4 - Scan the QR Code
Open your preferred authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
💡 Install one of the supported authenticator apps before beginning set up. If you can not scan QR codes, you can manually input the necessary information needed for set up.
Step 5 - Verify Your Device
Enter the one-time verification code generated by your authenticator app, provide a device name, and click Send.
Step 6 - Confirm Registration
Verify that your new authenticator appears under the Security tab in your portal.
Your authenticator app is now successfully registered and can be used for future sign-ins.
Important Information
- Email verification is enabled automatically when you register your account and cannot be disabled.
- Setting up an authenticator app does not disable email verification. Both authentication methods remain available.
- If you lose access to your registered email address or your authenticator app (for example, after changing or losing your smartphone), you may be unable to sign in.
- It is recommended to keep both email verification and authenticator app authentication enabled. If one method becomes unavailable, you can still use the other to access your account.
- On the sign-in screen, you can choose whether to verify using your registered email address or your authenticator app.
