When viewing uploaded photos, the displayed date and time may not always match the actual moment the photo was taken.
Most smartphones and cameras record the capture time in the photo's Exif data using the device’s local time. However, many image viewers and cloud services interpret this timestamp as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
InfiniCLOUD also treats Exif timestamps as UTC to ensure consistency for users in both Japan and overseas.
For example, if a photo's Exif data shows September 22, 2025, 10:00, the system may interpret this as 10:00 UTC. Depending on your computer or browser's time zone settings, the displayed time could differ from the actual local time the photo was taken. This behavior is independent of the camera or smartphone model.
Because Exif data usually does not include time zone information, these discrepancies are difficult to prevent.
