Retrieving files from a ZFS snapshot
What is a ZFS snapshot?
A copy or screenshot of the current file system. Screenshots serve as a backup in case a mistake is made or a file is accidentally erased; the file can then be recovered using the snapshot.

Retrieving zfs snapshots
1. Log in to the file browser and double click on the ".zfs" folder
2. Double click the "snapshot" folder
A list of past snapshots will be displayed.

3. Double click on the snapshot you want to retrieve
A list of snapshots with their original data will be displayed.

4. Click the download button to save the data to your PC
Images will display via the image viewer
Click the download button of the image you wish to retrieve. It will be downloaded to your PC.

If you are unable to access the .zfs folder or can't find the .zfs folder in your file browser
InfiniCLOUD accounts created at the very beginning of our service may not have the option to confirm snapshots via the .zfs folder.
Upon request, we can make the snapshots accessible to customers for independent evaluation.
If you are unable to access the.zfs folder and would like to retrieve snapshots of particular files or directories, please get in touch with InfiniCLOUD Support providing the details listed below.

- Date and time of the data you would like
- If you would like a copy of all snapshots under the .zfs folder, please let us know
- All customer's data will be copied in the server. Use will be restricted during this time.
If there is no [.zfs] folder (users who registered their account before April 15, 2015)
1. Log in to the old file browser
2. Click the "snapshot" button
A list of snapshots will be displayed.
3. Click on the snapshot data you want to retrieve
A list of snapshots with their original data will be displayed.
4. Click the download button displayed on the right of the screen
The data can now be saved to your device.
Retrieve files from their original dataset under [/files].
1. Log in to the file browser
Double click the dataset folder.
2. Enter ".zfs/snapshot" at the end of the file browser address
click ENTER or the arrow button on the far right of the screen.
The ".zfs/snapshot" folder will open.

3. Select the snapshot you want to retrieve
Click download.
Retrieve files from the original dataset under [/backup].
You must access the dataset through a WebDAV client by following the instructions below in order to retrieve the dataset snapshot. For a list of WebDAV clients that InfiniCLOUD has approved for use, click here.
Confirm the WebDAV connection URL.
1. Log in to the file browser
Click the "Data set editor" button.
2. Click the data set file name you want to retrieve
The selected data set's information will open.
3. Copy the WebDAV connection URL
To open the snapshot and save it to your device, paste the copied WebDAV URL into the URL destination and add.zfs/snapshot to the end.
