Using FolderSync with InfiniCLOUD
What is FolderSync?
FolderSync
FolderSync is a file manager for Android devices. It enables working with files and folders on your local device and on online storage, as well as the creation of synchronization folders.
This document explains how to configure InfiniCLOUD as an external connection in FolderSync.
*To turn on or off connections to InfiniCLOUD from applications, it is required to configure from My Page. More details can be found here.
Disclaimer
- We have confirmed the ability of FolderSync to connect to InfiniCLOUD and transfer files, but this does not amount to a full guarantee of the application's functionality.
- The synchronization process may overwrite files on your device and InfiniCLOUD, so unintended overwriting of data may occur depending on the settings. Be sure to save a copy of your data in a separate location before trying this application.
- If your Apps Password is reissued, it is necessary to reconfigure the password for the connected account.
- Please direct all inquiries regarding the application to its vendor.
- InfiniCLOUD does not impose any restrictions on data uploads, but depending on your environment, you may be unable to upload large files.

Connect to InfiniCLOUD
1a. Launch FolderSync and tap ADD in the Accounts section of the home screen to begin configuring an account
1b. You may also open the Accounts screen from the toolbar and tap ADD ACCOUNT
2. Choose WebDAV from the "Select account type" menu that appears. It is near the bottom, so you may need to scroll down to find it
3. Enter your WebDAV connection information
| Name | A memorable name, such as InfiniCLOUD. |

| Server address | Enter your WebDAV Connection URL (ex. https://sample.teracloud.jp/dav/). *While Apps Connection is turned on, your WebDAV Connection URL can be confirmed from My Page. Reference: How do I access and view My Page (account information confirmation page)？ |
| Login name | Enter your Connection ID. |
| Password | Enter your Apps Password. *If you forget your password, please reissue in these steps. |
*There is no need to change any of the Advanced settings.
Notes
It may take several minutes for external programs to accept newly reissued app credentials. If an error notice appears shortly after reissuing your password, please wait a few minutes before attempting to reconnect.
4. Tap TEST to confirm that FolderSync can connect with the provided information
5. Tap SAVE
6. You are now connected to InfiniCLOUD
7. To view your InfiniCLOUD files, open the Files screen from the toolbar and select your InfiniCLOUD account from the menu in the upper left
8. Your InfiniCLOUD files will appear in the File Manager
Upload Files and Folders to InfiniCLOUD
1. Open a local folder on your device and long press on a file or folder you wish to upload. Additional files and folders may be added to the selection by tapping them
2. Tap the Copy icon to copy the item(s)
3. Open your InfiniCLOUD account and choose an upload destination
4. Tap the Paste icon
5. Your file or folder will be uploaded to InfiniCLOUD
Download Files or Folders from InfiniCLOUD
1. Open your InfiniCLOUD account and long press on the file or folder you wish to download. Additional files and folders may be added to the selection by tapping them
2. Tap the Copy icon to copy the item(s)
3. Navigate to the local folder you wish to download to
4. Tap the Paste icon
5. The file(s) or folder(s) will be downloaded
Create a Folderpair and synchronize data
1. Select "Folderpairs" from the toolbar, or CREATE from the Folderpairs section of the Home screen.
2. Tap the + button in the bottom right, or the + CREATE FOLDERPAIR button will appear in the center of the screen when no folderpairs are configured. Skip this step if you tapped CREATE from the Folderpairs section of the home screen.
3. Select your InfiniCLOUD account
4. Enter the desired Folderpair settings
| Name | Enter a memorable name, for example InfiniCLOUD Sync |

| Sync type | Select whether to synchronize in one direction or both ways. When configuring one-way synchronization, choose a destination folder. Use "To remote folder" to backup your data to InfiniCLOUD. |
| Remote folder | Choose a folder on InfiniCLOUD to synchronize. |
| Local folder | Choose a folder on your device to synchronize. |
| Scheduling | Periodic synchronization can be configured with scheduled sync. |
| Sync options | Configure synchronization behavior. |
| ADVANCED | Configure further synchronization options |
| CONNECTION | Specify the types of connections and wireless networks over which synchronization may take place. |
| NOTIFICATIONS | Configure notifications for various synchronization events. |
*Configure Scheduling and Sync options as you see fit.
5. Tap SAVE
6. The Folderpair has been created
7. Tap SYNC to manually synchronize the folderpair
8. The folderpair has been synchronized
